Forex reserves rise to $24.668bln

KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves slightly rose to $24.688 billion in the week that ended August 13 from $24.644 billion a week ago, the State bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Friday.The foreign reserves held by the SBP increased by $3 million to $17.625 billion.The reserves of commercial banks also rose to $7.042 billion, compared with $7.021 billion in the previous week.
