Lloyds Banking Group PLC’s new chief executive Charlie Nunn has started work today, the bank said in a statement. William Chalmers, who has been interim group chief executive for the past three and a half months, reverts to his former role as chief financial officer. Nunn is joining from HSBC where he worked at several divisions before becoming head of wealth and personal banking. Prior to joining HSBC in 2011, he spent two decades at consultancies Accenture and McKinsey & Co. When he was appointed, Lloyds said Nunn brings world-class operational, technology and strategic expertise to the business. His predecessor at Lloyds António Horta-Osório stepped down at the end of May after ten years at the helm to become chairman of Credit Suisse. Source link
